I just love the simplicity of this photo. Taken in early November, the leaf was curled and brittle but looked wonderful next to this knot on one of the boards on the Grassy Point boardwalk
Two ships made their way into the Port of Duluth on a cold, windy and snowy December day. The second ship is faintly seen in the background and what appear to be "ice chunks" on the pier are seafulls huddled together because of the wind and cold.
